LAG ELITE CITADEL

The LAG Citadel device is an implantable titanium surgical lag screw in both 6.4mm and 9.5mm lengths. Lag screw fixation is common in orthopedic surgery and functions to fasten two bones or two bone fragments together to aid in healing


 The lag screw construct provides both compression and stability at the desired healing site which is a key component of bone healing


The main use of this type of screw is during surgical procedures to either repair fractured bones or to fuse bone together at an arthritic joint. The primary anatomic location is the extremity with primary use in the foot/ankle surgical specialty.
